- Develop, write, pitch and coordinate media and social media opportunities to promote Deluxe and its executives.
- Engage internal stakeholders with key business unit communications.
- Drive external communication strategy, partner with business and operational leaders, including CEO, to plan, develop, and execute media relations.
- Ensure the success of high-profile interactions and contribute to the overall effectiveness of company events and gatherings.
- Manage external resources in furtherance of communication and PR objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field (or equivalent experience) and 5 years experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience developing and implementing external communications and PR strategies
- Masters Degree & 8 years experience in communications or related field (Preferred)
- Experience managing agencies and external partners (Preferred)
- Experience coordinating with marketing and content efforts (Preferred)
- A strong track record of execution (Preferred)
- Ability to manage a variety of key initiatives concurrently (Preferred)
- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills (Preferred)
