About the role
- Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer at Deepgram focusing on technical pre-sales engagements with prospects and customers. Collaborating with sales to craft solutions leveraging AI speech technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise prospects and customers
- Architect and implement custom proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations that address specific customer use cases
- Provide expert guidance on API integration, performance optimization, and deployment strategies
- Partner with Account Executives to navigate technical objections and accelerate the sales cycle
- Contribute to technical content creation including implementation guides, reference architectures, and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the organization
- Represent the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Strong software engineering background with professional development experience in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
- Proven track record of successfully navigating complex technical sales cycles
- Experience building and demonstrating proof-of-concepts or technical solutions to diverse audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
