About the role

Principal Technologist developing best-in-class AI & Automation learning programmes at Decoded. Delivering workshops and creating content to transform business processes into automated solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as the ultimate Subject Matter Expert for AI and Automation.
Maintain high standards of delivery across quality and pacing for AI sessions.
Confidently manage high-stakes technical conversations with senior stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and upskilling to the wider delivery team.
Develop new learning programme content that bridges manual business processes and automated reasoning.
Design and champion educational frameworks for AI-assisted development.
Deconstruct messy manual processes into machine-readable workflows.
Ensure all content meets set deadlines and is tailored to specific customer requirements.
Deliver high-impact, virtual workshops to cohorts of business practitioners.
Apply professional teaching techniques to ensure high engagement and knowledge retention.
Provide real-time support and technical clarity during live sessions.
Constantly refresh technical delivery based on learner feedback and market shifts.
Work closely with the Product teams to drive the direction of AI and Automation products.

Extensive experience in technical facilitation and teaching, with a passion for sharing complex technical knowledge with non-technical audiences.
Proven track record of designing and delivering technical learning content, specifically in the fields of AI, Automation, or Digital Transformation.
Experience in AI Automation and process redesign, combining the rigour of business process analysis with the technical execution of automated workflows.
Demonstrable experience in leading a technical domain or product area within a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in Vibe Coding and AI-assisted development workflows including advanced Prompt Engineering and the implementation of LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation frameworks.
Advanced proficiency in Low-Code/No-Code ecosystems such as Power Automate, Zapier, or other equivalent enterprise tools.
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, specifically regarding their application in extending automation tools and managing API integrations.
Ability to design and document data flows and agentic reasoning loops for use in technical training materials.
Expert at technical translation, making the black box of AI transparent and accessible to non-technical operational leaders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical peers alike.
