About the role

• IT-Consultant working on Linux/Red Hat OpenShift for DATAGROUP, supporting client IT environments. Responsible for concept and operation of OpenShift environments in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Using your knowledge and experience in Linux and Red Hat OpenShift administration, you will advise and support our clients in their IT environments
• In our team, we are responsible for the design, implementation and long-term operation of an OpenShift environment
• Designing and installing OpenShift clusters on on-premises platforms
• Testing and commissioning the OpenShift environment
• Ensuring the smooth operation and continuous development of container-based systems

Requirements

• Strong experience in consulting and operating Red Hat OpenShift environments, and optionally other container environments
• Technical knowledge in the following areas: Red Hat CoreOS as the operating system
• GitHub and container registries
• Access management and user administration
• Automatic image updates
• Monitoring and logging
• Confident and professional handling of operational processes in larger IT environments, ideally following ITIL
• You have successfully completed a technical degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
• Strong analytical thinking with a structured and independent working style
• Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ 2)
• Professional and confident demeanor with strong service- and results-orientation
• Proficient German language skills (B2–C1) spoken and written
