About the role
- Network Engineer enhancing lifecycle management of network equipment at Danfoss. Collaborating to optimize and modernize network infrastructure solutions through efficient vendor management and service lifecycle documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Management of network equipment and ISP services, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Development of equipment refresh plans by assessment of existing equipment and evaluation of new equipment options.
- Process Optimization of network lifecycle management towards efficiency improvement, tasks automation and best practices implementation.
- Vendor Management in the network area.
- Collaboration with IT teams and participation in cross functional project initiative.
- Maintaining documentation of equipment and service lifecycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 + years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Cisco and/ or Aruba components and tools.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, VPN), familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
