About the role
- Senior Analyst managing inventories for manufactured and purchased goods at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Collaborating across regions for planning excellence in supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve ordering signals from MRP system and create internal requisitions to source finished goods from source warehouses.
- Manage supply of finished goods items at APAC warehouses and meet inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to optimize inventory levels and minimize scrapping cost.
- Follow all existing standard procedures for purchasing item.
- Regularly review stock levels and take necessary action during periods of constrained supply to minimize stock-out situation.
- Work with commercial team to have marketing intelligence used for planning excellence.
- Maintain Planning parameters such as lead time, re-order point, Safety stock etc.
- Create planning report by using tools. (ex. Power BI, Power query etc.)
- Own KPI report and take pro-active actions to bridge the gap.
- Understand company’s strategy and work in accordance with the strategy.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve planning and buying processes.
- Work independently with minimal guidance and acts as a mentor / resource for junior colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of SCM or relevant experience.
- Communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally with other stakeholders.
- Working in an MRP/MPS environment.
- Ability to use Oracle or similar ERP would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Supply chain field is plus.
- Upper-intermediate level of English skill.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lean tools is a plus.
- Working at healthcare industry is a plus.
- Leading SCM related project is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
- APICS Certification is desirable.
