About the role
- Junior Compliance Manager supporting the development of a compliance management system at an international financial services company based in Cologne, focusing on digital processes and modern governance tools.
Responsibilities
- Further development of the compliance management system
- Support for the operation and further development of the group-wide compliance management system
- Structuring and maintenance of policies, processes and compliance documentation
- Support for the Head of Compliance and Senior Compliance Managers on conceptual and organizational matters
- Digitalization of compliance processes
- Collaboration on digitizing compliance processes and governance structures
- Support in developing digital workflows, documentation structures and evidence and tracking systems
- Participation in the selection, evaluation and implementation of new tools to support compliance processes
- Support the further development of the compliance-related system landscape (e.g., documentation and collaboration tools)
- Monitoring, reporting and project work
- Support building structured compliance reporting
- Analysis of compliance information, risk analyses and monitoring results
- Work on group-wide compliance and governance projects
Requirements
- Completed degree (e.g., in Business, Law, Finance, Compliance or Risk Management) or equivalent qualification
- Initial professional experience in compliance, risk management, internal control or AML/CFT
- Interest in digital working methods, process automation and modern compliance tools
- Structured, analytical working style and a strong interest in documenting and improving processes
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Confident user of MS Office; ideally some experience with collaboration or documentation systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence or similar tools)
