Supplier Manufacturing Engineer at Curtiss-Wright supporting engineering design, testing, and production processes with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports to support design decisions and provide technical information to engineers, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders (25%).
Contribute to product development by writing performance requirements, reviewing customer specifications and proposals, and evaluating feasibility, cost, and maintenance considerations (20%).
Support production activities by coordinating manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and operational requirements to ensure adherence to design and performance specifications (20%).
Assist with system and equipment design by specifying components, supporting structural design activities, and providing feedback to design engineers based on customer needs and field observations (20%).
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and equipment investigations by designing test apparatus, diagnosing failures, recommending corrective actions, and overseeing installation, operation, and maintenance activities (15%).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
4–6+ years of engineering experience with exposure to design, analysis, testing, or production support
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
Experience supporting manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and production operations
Understanding of equipment troubleshooting, failure diagnosis, and corrective action practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional engineering and production teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced engineering or production environment
