Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Civil and Structural Engineers providing technical guidance
- Responsible for the delivery of civil and structural work across multiple projects
- Provide bid, estimating and technical input to projects
- Ensure project discipline technical, compliance, quality, resources and budget performance
- Collaborate and produce a robust and safe design output
- Lead meetings and coordinate project work activities
- Ensure project reporting data (KPIs, carbon, etc) is maintained
- Proactively share knowledge and best practices within the team
Requirements
- Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer with the ICE or IStructE
- CSCS
- Eligible for security clearance
- Hold professional qualifications such as Chartership or Incorporated Status
- Educational experience relevant to their engineering discipline, ideally degree qualified to a 2:1 or better
- Secondary level education, such as A levels, BTEC, T levels etc
- Safety passport or similar
- Line management / mentoring experience
- Wide reaching engineering experience across the full engineering lifecycle
- Understand and deliver on sustainable design requirements
- Knowledge of UK Regulatory framework associated with technical discipline
