About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer designing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure. Focused on Azure Kubernetes Service and CI/CD pipelines for efficient microservice-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• The role includes developing and managing Infrastructure as Code, building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions), and enabling modern, microservice-based architectures in cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps / Cloud Engineer role
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault
• Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker
• Practical experience with tools such as Terraform (including module development), Ansible, Packer, and Git
• Good knowledge of scripting and programming languages, including Python and Bash
• Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Good understanding of microservice architecture patterns, Git branching strategies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proven track record of delivering complex, end-to-end projects from conception to production
• Nice to have Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Knowledge of at least one additional cloud provider (GCP, AWS)
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures
• Exposure to GKE or EKS environments
