Responsibilities
Execute assigned QA projects and tasks under the guidance of a mentor
Prepare and submit weekly status reports summarizing testing activities, progress, and deliverables
Meet regularly with a mentor to review project status, test results, and address questions
Support the department and organization by contributing innovative ideas, process improvements, and an external perspective
Assist with documenting and refining business and functional requirements, including user stories, to support test planning
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to understand requirements and define quality expectations
Support software testing efforts by creating, executing, and maintaining test cases; validating functionality against requirements; and identifying and documenting defects
Perform system analysis on existing applications to support test coverage and integration of new requirements
Participate in active projects, collaborate with the development team, and gain hands-on exposure to multiple phases of the software development lifecycle
Requirements
Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Available to work 40 hours/week for 10 weeks: June 2nd - August 6th, 2026
Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communications
Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of general software development concepts and SQL
Ability to communicate effectively both with non-technical business users and the technical engineering team
Strong customer service aptitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
