Technical Business Analysis Engineer collaborating with clients to gather healthcare domain requirements and document them accordingly. Responsible for translating business needs into clear use cases and functional artifacts.
Responsibilities
Interact with Business Users to solicit business requirements and translate them in the form of use cases.
Work with clients to create/gather requirements and document them according to standards.
Document requirements gaps and process artifacts including project objectives, functional system requirements, Non-functional system requirements, data requirements, constraints, assumptions and current state process analysis.
Work closely with development team for elucidation and constructive discussions during implementation.
Conduct demos at completion of milestones, track and close feedback from such demos.
Requirements
Ideal candidate should have at least 5 of years of total experience in IT and at least 2-3 years of Health Care Domain experience.
Must have very good understanding of the healthcare payer space with a minimum experience of 3 years in healthcare domain.
Prior experience in PBM/ Pharmacy is a huge plus.
Must be able to work with the clients to create/gather requirements and document them according to standards.
Candidate will have the responsibility of Interacting with Business Users, internal SMEs, external users and Client Business Analysts to solicit business requirements and translate them in the form of use cases, User Interface Docs, process maps, requirements matrix for the application.
Must adhere to (or if needed, define) the processes for requirement solicitation, documentation and hand off.
Should work closely with the development team to elucidate the requirements.
Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Basic understanding of concepts like web services, relational databases etc.
Should be able to run SQL queries and perform basic system analysis.
Should be able to troubleshoot critical issues and triage with the team to resolve the issue.
