About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage multi-year construction projects at one of the company's 50 distribution facilities
- Coordinate, plan, and lead construction project activities from initiation through completion
- Define and validate scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables during planning and execution phases to ensure project success
- Participate in bid evaluation and vendor selection
- Prepare and execute contractual agreements with vendors, partners, and subcontractors
- Hire and manage the activities of selected subcontractors and suppliers
- Establish quality control systems to ensure required specifications are met
- Develop a multi-year capital projects plan for assigned facilities in collaboration with strategic and operations teams
- Implement construction projects in collaboration with operations teams to minimize disruptions to business activities
- Communicate with site supervisors and trades to ensure project requirements are understood and followed
- Provide project management and building/facilities expertise, manage project cash flows, and ensure on-time delivery
- Manage the process to add vendors to approved lists for procurement, hiring, and oversight
Requirements
- University degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, or structural) or a related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience
- Technical expertise in buildings and facilities
- Bilingualism preferred (French and English)
