About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for managing Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines in a technology startup. Collaborating with teams to enhance AI-assisted software applications and support various client projects.
Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters in on‑premises and cloud environments
- Automating deployments and build processes using CI/CD pipelines
- Provisioning and configuring infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform
- Using monitoring and alerting tools to monitor stability and performance
- Troubleshooting incidents and server outages
- Technical support for customer projects, especially on‑premises deployments
- Operating large language models (LLMs) on our own infrastructure
- Close collaboration with developers, product owners, key account managers and other stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps
- Business‑fluent German
- Experience with container environments (Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift)
- Experience with Linux and cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Helm, and operating and maintaining complex IT systems
- Ideally experience with Ansible and Terraform, shell scripting, monitoring and logging tools, and software development (Rust, Python, React)
- Ideally interest in MLOps topics
