About the role
- Principal Product Manager defining product vision and strategy for AI-Powered Metadata & Quality solutions. Leading cross-functional teams and overseeing product lifecycle at Cloudera.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-Powered Metadata & Data Quality solutions
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to identify market opportunities
- Translate complex customer needs into detailed product requirements
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and other teams for successful product delivery
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch optimization
- Work with sales, marketing, and enablement teams to develop compelling product positioning
- Champion product adoption and customer success through advocacy and engagement
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- 10+ years of experience in product management
- Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and managing enterprise-grade software products
- Deep understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality concepts and technologies
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
