Responsibilities
The Pace Medical Director is an Internal Medicine Physician or Geriatrician working under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.
This hybrid position has admin and clinical duties.
As a clinician, the Pace Medical Director provides primary medical care services to CSV PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) participants, including health assessments, development of a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and evaluation of effectiveness of the plan of care.
During the admin time, the PACE medical director will collaborate with CSV staff and external stakeholders for the creation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Pace Program.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school as an M.D., or D.O
California Medical License
DEA Certificate
Current BLS certification through the AHA
Board Certification in respective specialty
Previous leadership experience
Must be able to stay credentialed at CSV and with affiliated organizations (when needed), in addition to local, state, and federal payors as needed by CSV.
