Responsibilities
- Provide essential support in the planning and execution of research initiatives, capacity building activities, collaborative forums, and engagement with stakeholders.
- Contribute to sustainable finance strategies, foster impactful policy interventions, and participate in initiatives that drive positive change at the intersection of climate action and economic development.
- Lead the primary responsibility for projects as designated by senior management and advisory committees.
- Develop, manage, and implement complex research assignments and analytical projects.
- Lead the production and completion of high-quality CPI products, including reports, executive summaries, blogs, and presentations.
- Conduct research and analysis on topics related to sustainable finance, including policy and regulation, market practices, reporting and disclosure, taxonomy, and innovative financial mechanisms.
- Curriculum development for capacity development programs on sustainable finance for stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities.
- Engage with clients, policymakers, and investors to provide advice on research findings implications.
- Represent CPI and present research findings at high-level events and conferences.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Requirements
- Post Graduate degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Management/CFA
- At least 10-12 years post qualification experience in the field.
- Significant professional experience in the financial sector, management consulting/advisory/research, international non-profit, government, and/or a multi-lateral institution.
- Independent, analytical mind with an excellent track record of applying sound financial judgment to complex issues.
- Flexibility, professionalism, enthusiasm for working as part of a team, and an ability to interact with a diverse array of people.
- An ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English.
