About the role

• Senior Front-end Engineer joining the Subscriber Experience Squad to architect complex user-facing systems. Work in an AI-first development culture focusing on quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to join our Subscriber Experience Squad (SXP) - a high-impact, cross-functional team responsible for the full subscriber lifecycle, from checkout to account management.
• This role goes beyond building UI.
• You will architect complex, user-facing systems while operating confidently across the broader platform. While you don't need to be a Backend or DevOps specialist, you should be comfortable navigating APIs, cloud environments, and deployment pipelines to be able to navigate and contribute to the full system when needed.

Requirements

• Master and evolve our AI-first development workflows, championing the daily use of AI tools to push the boundaries of engineering speed and code quality.
• Build and evolve front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Own front-end architecture and contribute to system design decisions
• Develop API routes (e.g. Next.js / AWS Lambda) and integrate with backend services
• Work with AWS-based environments to debug, monitor, and support applications
• Investigate issues using logs and monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Mixpanel)
• Collaborate closely with other teams that contribute to Cleeng platform
• Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Proactively identify improvements across product and technology
• The ideal candidate will have following competencies
• Practical, advanced use of AI tools in day-to-day development
• 5+ years of experience building React applications
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience designing scalable front-end architectures
• Solid understanding of how modern web apps interact with APIs and backend systems
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Experience creating API endpoints
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
• Strong focus on quality, testing, and maintainability
• Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
• Strong communication skills in English (C1+)
• Ownership mindset and proactive approach
• Nice to have:
• Experience with Spec-driven development
• Experience with Next.js and SSR
• Deeper experience with AWS services and architecture
• Experience with Playwright or other E2E testing tools
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience
