About the role
- AI Engineer developing and implementing AI strategies for tech cluster at citema systems GmbH. Acting as a main point of contact for AI-related requirements between departments.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of an AI tool strategy for the tech cluster
- Decisions on using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, cloud services, or on-premises solutions
- Designing architectures and best practices to avoid unnecessary AI calls
- Primary point of contact between business units and central functions
- Identifying and translating AI-related requirements into concrete AI solutions
- Continuous needs analysis and coordination with the training department
Requirements
- Several years of solid experience in software development
- Hands-on experience with modern AI development environments (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot Enterprise) and code assistants
- Deep understanding of LLMs and architectures: experience building or deploying multi-agent systems (e.g., Anthropic, AutoGPT, LangChain) and with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- High self-motivation and pioneering spirit; ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and didactic ability
- Security and compliance mindset: understanding of data classification and IP leakage risks
- Ideally experience in regulated or safety-critical R&D environments
- Very good spoken and written German required.
