Chargé de recherche - Post-doctorant developing a bio-inspired decision support tool for zero carbon energy mix at UniLaSalle in Amiens.
Responsibilities
Development of a conceptual framework: formalize the theoretical framework of territorial energy homeostasis, conduct a systematic literature review, and identify and operationalize relevant biological analogies for energy modeling
Development of the METABOLIX prototype: implement the software architecture, develop bio-inspired optimization algorithms, integrate stakeholder negotiation mechanisms, and build a georeferenced visualization and decision-support interface
Validation on the NOVAPARK case study: collect and process the business park's energy data, calibrate and validate the prototype on real data, produce zero-carbon trajectory scenarios, and run co‑creation sessions with park stakeholders
Valorization and technology transfer: write a methodological guide to ensure tool replicability, publish at least two articles in peer‑reviewed international journals, and present the work at national and international conferences
Contribute to the project's progress reports and institutional deliverables.
Requirements
PhD obtained (or defended before starting the position) in energy engineering, complex systems, applied computer science, control engineering, or a related discipline
Experience in modeling and simulation of dynamic systems
Scientific publications in the research field (journal articles, conference papers)
Experience modeling energy systems and/or flows in multi‑actor environments
Ability to work in partnership with industrial and institutional stakeholders
Desirable but not mandatory: biomimetics and/or bio‑inspired algorithm design, GIS / digital mapping, knowledge of energy markets and/or industrial ecosystems, spoken French for interactions with industrial partners.
