Responsibilities
Develop Sourcing Strategies: Design and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage a diverse supplier base. Foster long-term partnerships and conduct regular performance assessments to ensure supplier quality and reliability.
Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers, achieving cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and product development, to understand their sourcing needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard business operations and continuity.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Draft and manage contractual agreements for goods and services.
Data Analysis: Utilize data insights to monitor supplier performance, track sourcing effectiveness, and drive decision-making based on quantitative analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process, driving innovation and efficiency in sourcing activities.
Requirements
BA/BS/Bachelor Degree
7+ years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 4 years' experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Healthcare Industry experience is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
