Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for safety, security, and humanitarian access across Asia
- Integrate gender-inclusive security risk analysis into operational decisions
- Ensure country programs have robust security protocols and systems
- Mentor and build capabilities of IRC staff and leaders
- Lead and supervise identification and mitigation of security risks
- Enable and safeguard humanitarian access in country programs
- Lead recruitment and selection of key positions with S&S responsibilities
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in international humanitarian assistance
- Strong knowledge of regional and country dynamics in Asia preferred
- Fluency in English required
- Demonstrated grounding in humanitarian principles
- Proven success in gender-sensitive security management
- Strong capacity to analyze and present complex security dynamics clearly
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
