About the role
- Manager directing financial planning and analysis for Capital One's Enterprise Risk organizations. Collaborating with business teams to assess financial implications of ongoing efforts and investments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate budgeting, forecasting, financial management reporting, and variance analysis of operating expenses
- Build story-driven presentations with data-driven insights, and deliver to senior audiences
- Engage with business partners to analyze and manage cost drivers and to prioritize resources
- Independently coordinate workstreams and deliverables under either open-ended or tight timelines, including ad-hoc and special projects
- Identify and enable continuous improvements across the team to drive efficiencies
- Indirectly manage and develop associates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
- At least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance (preferred)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
- At least 6 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function (preferred)
- At least 1 year of direct or indirect people management experience (preferred)
