Responsibilities
- Take ownership of quality across the entire development lifecycle - from early requirements to final delivery
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide meaningful feedback
- Create and maintain structured test plans and cases
- Perform exploratory, regression, and cross-browser testing
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Maintain and improve test frameworks
- Identify, track, and clearly document issues
- Monitor quality metrics such as defect density and open defect counts
- Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality delivery
- Contribute to refining QA processes
- Stay up to date with testing tools, frameworks, and strategies
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development or QA
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Java, TestNG, Maven
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
