About the role
- Security Officer managing safety and security at Cromwell Hospital and Canary Wharf locations. Responding to security requests and maintaining logs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all requests for security services, operate systems and maintain accurate logs and reports
- Follow processes and procedures assuring the safety and welfare of all staff, patients, and visitors
- Recognise and respond appropriately to any situation threatening safety, security or well-being
- Maintain effective logs and records of activity
- Promote the seamless flow of information both to and from the Security team
- Provide a physical security presence in and around reception areas
- Administer the ID access control system
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental safety requirements
- Assist with regular inspections of security equipment
- Carry out regular internal and external patrols of hospital premises
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Security role – ideally hospital or hospitality security
- Must have an SIA Licence
- Customer service skills
- Experience in CCTV operation is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT Literate – knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook
