Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with Brixmor’s business and IT goals
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and operational technologies
- Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, trends, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence and improvements to Cyber frameworks such as NIST and internal policies
- Oversee the team in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning
- Manage a high-performing cybersecurity team; foster a culture of security awareness across the organization
- Lead the team in evaluating and managing security tools, services, and third-party risk
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity leadership, preferably in real estate, retail, or asset-heavy industries
- Proven track record in developing enterprise-wide security programs and managing a high performing team
- Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) required
