Responsibilities
Consistently provide primarily independent therapy sessions for patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders.
Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on the needs of the clinic’s patient population and caseload, aligned with scientific best-practice guidelines.
Demonstrate competency for individual counseling, offering occasional individual counselor sessions as appropriate.
Assist with treatment planning and reviewing progress towards treatment plan goals.
Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
Carry and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
Ensure adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.
Attend required meetings including individual and group supervision, multidisciplinary team meeting, and quarterly in-service.
Provide occasional training/onboarding support for new hire Counselor I.
Training, onboarding, and mentorship support for new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics.
Requirements
Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum independently licensed.
