Responsibilities
Develop and execute Walmart and Sam’s Club account strategy to achieve sales, share, and profitability targets, including annual joint business planning and promotional calendars.
Manage customer relationships at the buyer and planner level, leading business reviews and securing support for initiatives.
Own financial performance for the account, including P&L management, forecasting, and trade spend optimization.
Analyze data and trends using Retail Link and syndicated sources to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and category teams to deliver new product launches, promotions, and omni-channel programs.
Ensure operational excellence by maintaining compliance with Walmart requirements and company policies, while monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
5+ years of CPG account management or sales experience, with direct responsibility for large retail accounts.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Scintilla Charter, Retail Link, IRI/Nielsen, and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
