About the role
- Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist responsible for end-to-end procurement activities at Boeing. Collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating contracts to support organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end procurement activities including early engagement with stakeholders
- Develop source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
- Negotiate long-term agreements (terms and conditions)
- Create and oversee strategic contracts
- Support the objectives of other teams: legal counsel, security, procurement, trade compliance, etc.
- Support FAR/DFARS compliance activities and ensure team adherence to internal processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contracts
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
- 3+ years of experience negotiating, interpreting, and editing terms and conditions leveraging the support of a contracts team
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
- 3+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and relevant procurement regulations
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint software
