About the role
- Senior Manager leading External Manufacturing Finance at Bristol Myers Squibb in Ireland. Overseeing budgeting, projections, and financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the External manufacturing finance team responsible for Subcontracting/PPV/Freight
- Preparation and review of ExM Budget and Projections
- Month End reporting and commentary, variance, and trend analysis
- Oversee and facilitate product costing across a significant number of materials
- Virtual Plant Team/Business Unit finance representative providing strategic support
- Tolling reconciliations – preparation, alignment and review
- Supporting Business unit leads in identifying financial risk and quantifying operational risk
- Where applicable ensure SOX control compliance
- Provide support for acquisitions and divestitures
- Facilitate and support internal/External Audits as required
Requirements
- An experienced qualified accountant with a comprehensive knowledge of costing and financial analysis, accounting principles, and internal controls.
- ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA with +6 years PQE
- Strong excel skills essential and knowledge of SAP ERP desirable
- Experienced at managing teams and delivering high quality results
- Develops strong, effective work relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives
- Builds and maintains a network of key individuals necessary for obtaining and disseminating information critical to the operation of the External Manufacturing Business Unit
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage cross functional teams in a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results from an overall corporate perspective
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the execution of job responsibilities
