About the role
- Junior Financial Planning Analyst contributing to Banco Bmg's financial performance management by analyzing results and projections. Involves collaboration with various departments for data alignment and report preparation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze accounting and managerial results for banking products, identifying significant variances, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor key financial indicators and the business P&L.
- Prepare financial projections, including forecasts, revisions and the annual budget.
- Prepare dashboards, reports and executive presentations to support leadership.
- Support investigation of variances, result explanations and consolidation of information from multiple areas.
- Interface with areas such as Accounting, Controllership, Product and Commercial to collect and align information.
- Actively participate in process improvements, automation of routines and the pursuit of efficiency in financial analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint and basic SQL.
- Analytical skills and strong ability to interpret data.
- Proactivity and an ownership mindset in problem solving.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with different departments.
- Energy, curiosity and willingness to learn quickly.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple demands.
- Previous experience with FP&A, controllership, accounting or financial consulting (internship or first job).
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting/management concepts.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Intermediate level of English.
