Responsibilities

  • As an Audit Assistant (m/f/d), you will work on a variety of assignments in the field of financial auditing and maintain direct contact with clients from different industries and of various sizes
  • You will be part of a team of around 150 colleagues that has grown over many years while remaining close-knit
  • In this role you will receive early responsibility, develop your professional skills and work closely with experienced colleagues from tax advisory and auditing
  • Participate in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Support due diligence reviews and company valuations
  • Prepare audit reports and documentation
  • Handle special business management topics and tax-related issues
  • Contribute to the development of audit processes and digital solutions
  • Perform other tasks that you enjoy

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a focus on auditing, accounting or taxation
  • Initial practical experience in tax or accounting (e.g., internships or student positions) is desirable but not mandatory
  • Structured, independent working style and willingness to learn new topics
  • Strong communication skills, reliability and good interpersonal sensitivity — both within the team and in client contact
  • DATEV experience is desirable but not required
