Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and maximizing profitable relationships with personal lines clients
Grow the book of business through new client sales
Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up
Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs
Actively prospect round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage
Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage
Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates
Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved
Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions
Requirements
Hold the insurance license required by the State of Indiana
Minimum of 6 months of personal lines insurance account management experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation
Demonstrate knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
Proven track record of sales success
Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive
Outstanding organizational skills
