About the role
- Technical Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics applications. Providing consultancy and technical management across AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical application management and consultancy across AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
- Participate in the installation, configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of application components.
- Manage and execute release cycles, patches, and deployments across test, QA, and production environments.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform components, and Synapse Analytics.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance across all environments.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support migration and upgrade initiatives from legacy AX versions to Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, internal governance, change control, and security procedures.
- Provide technical mentoring to junior team members when required.
Requirements
- 3–6 years’ experience in technical consultancy or technical application management.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and AX 2012 (technical administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning).
- Strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations technical components.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Logic Apps
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
- Strong background in installation, deployment, and release management in multi-tier environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and source control (GIT).
- Solid understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows, and security models.
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch (written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
