About the role
- Experienced Project Engineer managing regional industrial projects across dairy and heavy industries. Delivering sustaining capital projects and building strong client relationships in a site-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering sustaining capital projects such as equipment replacements, safety upgrades, reliability improvements and compliance works
- Supporting major capital projects as they arise
- Managing projects end to end, from scope and planning through to delivery - working alongside client teams with support from Beca’s wider national capability
- Building strong, trusted client relationships through consistent, high-quality delivery
- Working confidently and independently in a site based delivery environment, partnering with operational teams and key stakeholders, drawing on national project support where needed
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience ideally within industrial brownfield or operational environments
- Experience managing projects up to $5 million, including scope, programme, cost and risk
- The ability to work independently in a regional delivery environment
- A client-focused, practical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
