About the role
- RTR Junior Accountant at Bridgestone supporting RTR processes and improving workflows. Located in Poznań, responsible for journal entries and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support in RTR processes such as journal entries posting, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, month-end closing, intercompany reconciliations, and report preparation
- Post and verify the correctness of accounting entries
- Participate in departmental projects and standardization initiatives
- Take initiative to improve processes, communication, or the work environment
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Support KPI analysis, root cause identification, and propose improvements
- Assist the Team Leader with additional activities and ad hoc requests
Requirements
- Relevant secondary education or post-secondary accounting training
- Some experience in an accounting environment (internship);
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Basic knowledge of SAP FI or other financial/accounting systems
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data
- Good English (B1–B2 level)
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
