About the role
- SAP Basis Senior Consultant/Architect optimizing client business operations through advanced SAP systems at BearingPoint. Involvement in installation, configuration, and administration tasks for S/4HANA.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance for S/4HANA systems
- Manage SAP system landscapes and transport routes (DEV → QA → PROD)
- Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and implement tuning activities
- Manage client copies, system refreshes, kernel upgrades, and patching
- Handle SAP Fiori administration and troubleshooting
- Design, maintain, and optimize SAP roles and authorization concepts across S/4HANA and satellite systems
- Conduct authorization troubleshooting and resolve security‑related issues
- Support audits and ensure compliance with security best practices
- Configure, deploy, and manage applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Set up monitoring (integration, job, health, business process)
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and solution designs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration
- Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA system administration
- Strong knowledge of SAP Security / Roles & Authorizations
- Experience working with SAP BTP (administration level)
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (operations or implementation monitoring)
- Good understanding of SAP landscapes, transport management, and system architecture
- Experience with system migrations, upgrades, and SAP HANA DB administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
