About the role
- Architect responsible for architectural design and project coordination at BC2 Architecture. Engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project quality and adherence to standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction sites and conduct periodic site visits to verify that work complies with drawings, specifications and applicable standards
- Document project progress, prepare site reports and track directives and changes
- Actively participate in the development, coordination and implementation of BIM methods and processes within projects
- Produce, coordinate and review technical documents and construction drawings at all project phases
- Collaborate in the preparation of specifications, technical details and tender documents
- Contribute to architectural design and the development of innovative concepts that meet client needs and regulatory constraints
- Coordinate stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration of disciplines
- Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets and the firm’s quality standards
Requirements
- You hold a Master’s degree in Architecture
- You are a member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) or in the process of becoming one
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe suite
- Knowledge of Forma, Rhino and Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written, and have a good command of English
