About the role
- Volljurist specializing in IT and procurement law responsible for supporting public sector projects in Hannover. Collaborating with clients on complex procurement strategies and legal advice.
Responsibilities
- As part of our “Public Procurement Law” team, you will support procurement projects for public-sector clients—particularly in the area of complex IT initiatives (cloud solutions, hardware and software, IT services).
- You will work with our clients and our internal “Procurement Management” team to develop the formal and substantive procurement strategy, structure timelines and procedural workflows, prepare tender and contract documents, and support procurement procedures from publication through to contract award.
- Outside of specific procurement projects, you will draft expert opinions, advise on procurement- and IT-related legal issues, and represent clients—both public contracting authorities and companies—in out-of-court and court proceedings.
Requirements
- You are a fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or are already admitted to the bar.
- Your professional interest lies in IT and procurement law as well as in the legal support of complex procurement and digitalization projects.
- Entry-level candidates will have already focused on these areas during their studies or legal clerkship (Referendariat) and are deliberately seeking to start in a specialized advisory practice.
- Candidates with initial professional experience ideally have practical knowledge in procurement law, IT law, or public commercial law.
