- Data Analyst working with data analysis and design for a growing ADS within the Bank. Collaborating with global teams to analyze diverse data sources and provide innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and design for a growing ADS within the Bank.
- Write complex queries, joins, window functions using SQL.
- Work with multiple, diverse data sources and multiple database systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Mongo DB etc.).
- Be hands-on on Data Controls for the application.
- Learn new frameworks and tools and help with adoption in the application.
- Create visualizations such as charts and graphs to communicate their findings to stakeholders, making data accessible and understandable.
- Building Proofs of Concepts to determine fitness of solution.
- Deliver demos/walk throughs of PoC to stakeholders.
- Identify improvement areas within the application and work to implement the same.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to team requirements.
- Ensure high quality levels in all deliverables.
- Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge.
- Work efficiently in matrix organization, with India and USA leadership.
- Actively involved in process improvements and automations.
- Be a key contributor to initiatives that require analytical expertise.
- Provide innovative solutions to problems and drive the design/development of components.
- Effectively deal with multiple deadline-driven tasks and customers.
Requirements
- B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
- Experience Range: 8+ years
- Experience in data analysis, in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, window functions).
- Experience with multiple database systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Mongo DB etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong data analysis skills and communication with ability to present the findings to Business users.
- Understanding of the business context and ability to derive insights to drive business value.
- Strong experience in handling Data Quality, Data Integrity controls, Data Lineage
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI etc.).
- Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
- Proficiency in Statistic analytics, data mining, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience on Data Quality tools such as Collibra preferred.
- Experience on Climate Risk domain preferred
- Experience in Finance and Banking domain.
