Waterfront Facility Manager leading operations and maintenance of waterfront facilities at HM Naval Base Clyde, ensuring safe and efficient operations for Royal Navy vessels.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the operational availability of waterfront jetties, delivering berthing and engineering support services to the customer
Maximise utilisation and efficiency of departmental resources, supporting the Head of Infrastructure Operations
Deliver tasks to agreed cost, time and quality requirements
Motivate and develop waterfront staff to meet objectives and uphold safety standards
Ensure suitably qualified and experienced personnel, and the right equipment, are in place in line with Clyde Safety Management Arrangements
Requirements
Fully conversant with waterfront business and operations
Competent and experienced in managing waterfront procedures and processes
Proven line management experience
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
Maintenance management expertise
Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent)
ILM Level 5 (or equivalent leadership qualification)
Security Check (SC) clearance required for the role.
