Responsibilities
Take charge of a talented team of engineers, driving the design, integration, and delivery of complex system solutions.
Own the definition and integrity of the system-level design, ensuring everything from requirements and risk management through to modelling and change control is expertly managed.
Keep projects moving, ensuring designs are compliant, traceable, and ready for certification.
Combine strong technical knowledge with natural leadership skills, empowering your team to perform at their best while maintaining a clear focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
Bring a solid understanding of design, analysis, and integration techniques, along with experience managing governance frameworks and technical assurance in large, multi-stakeholder programs.
Mentor others, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
Hold an accredited (under the Washington Accord) bachelor’s degree in engineering or hold the recognised engineering qualifications to be eligible to obtain Professional Engineer category Membership through a recognised body.
Membership of a relevant engineering body, preferably with chartered status.
Demonstrated relevant experience in relatable technical / engineering roles.
A good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
