About the role
- Automation & Systems Engineer in N2P Messaging Team handling AWS environment and Jenkins pipelines for Net2Phone. Responsibilities include cloud networking, infrastructure as code, and systems maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Networking & Routing: Manage and resolve networking tickets across multiple teams, handling VPC configurations, subnetting, and complex cross-account communication.
- Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and evolve our AWS environment using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
- CI/CD Administration: Manage and scale our Jenkins ecosystem, including the administration and optimization of Jenkins agents running within AWS.
- Systems Maintenance: Oversee security patching, system updates, and general administration of our cloud-based tools.
- Automation: Proactively automate manual tasks to improve system reliability and reduce response times for internal requests.
Requirements
- AWS Expertise: Good understanding of AWS networking components (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Security Groups, and Peering).
- Terraform Experience: Experience writing, testing, and deploying infrastructure modules in a production environment.
- Jenkins Mastery: Hands-on experience administering Jenkins, managing nodes/agents, and troubleshooting pipeline performance in AWS.
- Security-First Mindset: Experience with automated patching workflows and securing cloud infrastructure.
- Problem Solver: Ability to handle high-level routing and connectivity issues across a distributed, multi-account architecture.
- Level: Middle to Senior (3+ years of relevant DevOps or Systems Engineering experience).
- English level B1
