Responsibilities
You will report directly to the Security Controller and provide essential support, advice and guidance to the requisite programs and business.
As the Deputy Security Controller for Mission Systems, you will be accountable for delivering a broad range of security services and providing a high-level of security services in support of the Security Controller.
Help implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and company standards as well as develop and deliver security education and awareness programs for staff.
Manage security clearances (like BPSS and NSV) for new and existing employees and contractors.
Oversee physical security measures such as access control, CCTV systems, and key management.
Investigate security breaches, report criminal activity, and work with relevant authorities on incident containment and resolution.
Conduct internal audits, check supplier compliance, and ensure all security practices align with regulations and contractual requirements.
Act as a point of contact between the company and government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders on security matters.
Requirements
Must be able to attain DV clearance.
Practical and working knowledge of GovS007 as well as relevant aspects of JSP 440.
Possess well developed IT skills.
Practical and working knowledge of GDPR.
Strong collaborator with evidence of interfacing and building trust across all levels.
Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in a related subject, or relevant industry experience to security.
