About the role

Responsibilities
- Support and strengthen the Accounting team
- Responsible for regulatory reporting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Ensure compliance with local quality requirements
- Coordination and support of operational accounting and intercompany processes
- Documentation of provisions, accruals and deferrals
- Co-responsible for the implementation and adherence to internal control system (IKS) procedures
Requirements
- Degree in business/economics with a focus on finance, or completed commercial vocational training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant)
- Several years of professional experience in external audit and/or general ledger accounting
- Good to very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, ideally also RechKredV
- Excellent MS Office skills and experience with SAP R/3
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
