About the role

• Quality Manager & ISMS Officer focusing on ISO 9001/ISO 27001. Involved in audits, process optimization, and management system development at Axians in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Translate and implement requirements from standards such as ISO 9001 into practical work processes
• Provide and effectively use appropriate methods and procedures to analyze, optimize, and monitor an integrated management system
• Maintain and further develop these procedures across the company, including organizing suitable training and workshops
• Detect system deviations early, assess them thoroughly, and derive targeted improvement measures
• Support the entire process from preparation and implementation to the continuous development of the management system
• Confidently assess internal audits and support external audits when required
• Assemble a qualified audit team and ensure their professional development
• Apply knowledge of audit principles, procedures, and techniques to the execution of internal audits
• Include risk management and implement corresponding methods for sustainable process improvement

Requirements

• Completed degree in (industrial) engineering, (business) computer science/informatics, quality management, or a comparable field — alternatively equivalent vocational training
• Initial practical experience in quality management, ideally in the context of ISO 9001
• Knowledge of other standards — e.g., environmental management, information security (ISO 27001), occupational safety (ISO 45001), or energy management — is a plus
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and the ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop solutions collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and Germany approximately three times per month
• Very good spoken and written German and good English skills to operate confidently in an international work environment
