Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain crypto wallet systems using Golang, ensuring robust support for protocols such as multi-party computation (MPC) and multi-signature (multi-sig) configurations
- Architect modular, scalable backend systems with an unwavering commitment to security and performance
- Work closely with Partners to optimize configurations and setups for Ava Labs products
- Provide technical guidance across Business Development, Product, Security, Finance, and Engineering teams
- Assess opportunities and recommend solutions tailored to client needs
- Establish architectures and systems that ensure mass adoption of Ava Labs products while maintaining top-tier security
- Demonstrate an independent, driven mindset that thrives on taking initiative without being micromanaged

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems
- Proven track record in building crypto wallets or blockchain-related products
- Deep understanding of both UTXO and Account models, state management, and consensus mechanisms
- Extensive experience in secure coding practices with a very strong understanding of security principles as they apply to blockchain and crypto wallet systems
- Familiarity with competitive technologies and cloud service setups
- A self-driven, independent mindset with extreme ownership over your work and outcomes
