About the role
- Analytics Engineer leading data initiatives from conception to implementation. Grupo Autoglass focuses on automotive glass and technology with opportunities for impactful data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead data projects autonomously, from requirements mapping to database modeling and the delivery of data;
- Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring efficient data transformation and storage;
- Contribute to the design, documentation, maintenance, monitoring and optimization of data code and tools;
- Identify opportunities for improvements and scalability in the company's ETL/ELT platform;
- Translate business needs into data solutions aligned with the data platform’s strategies and tools;
- Mentor team members and promote data literacy among stakeholders;
- Ensure data quality and integrity by performing code reviews and quality checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in technology, business administration, engineering or related fields;
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders;
- Experience in complex environments and working with large volumes of data;
- Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines;
- Experience programming with general-purpose languages (Python, R, Scala);
- Experience with data storage and processing technologies and techniques (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mart);
- Proficiency in SQL and/or PySpark for data modeling and for solving complex problems efficiently;
- Basic knowledge of software engineering practices (documentation, automated testing, clean code);
