About the role
- DevOps & Backend Engineer ensuring performance and security of Shopware projects while collaborating with developers and project managers. Responsible for infrastructure and automation in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure our Shopware projects run with high performance, security, and reliability
- Own the operation and automation of our development and hosting environments
- Support the backend team in implementing complex customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and architects to shape our technical standards, workflows, and infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration
- Experience with Docker, reverse proxies, and deployment workflows
- Confident use of Git and CI/CD setups
- Knowledge of network and server security
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Several years of experience in object-oriented PHP development
- Strong knowledge of Symfony, Twig, and MySQL
- Experience with Shopware 6
- Experience with REST API design and system integration
- Basic frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Vue.js desirable)
