About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer collaborating with development and operations teams to deploy applications and infrastructure securely in Azure cloud. Involves designing, automating, and maintaining security tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• cooperate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture
• design and automate infrastructure deployment through IaC
• participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and knowledge exchange
• implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and infrastructure
• follow changes to security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations
• provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management
• monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• hands on experience with Azure ecosystem
• strong background in software development and operations
• in-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices
• experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools and vulnerability scanners
• experience with Azure and its related services (AppService, AKS, AKV, Private Networking)
• experience with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps)
• experience with implementing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, GitHub)
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Bachelor's level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study
